Attic Films was founded by creative producer Nevena Semova in Bulgaria in 2022. Attic Films is dedicated to crafting high-quality, compelling stories that resonate globally. Our aim is to become a distinguished name in international cinema, fostering partnerships and participating in major film festivals to showcase our commitment to cinematic excellence.

Collaborating with creatives from Europe and beyond, Attic Films’ first production “1000” premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival – PÖFF Shorts 2023, followed by selections at In the Palace 2024 and IDSFFK 2024.

Currently in production is the company’s next project, the feature documentary “Jar of Time”, (by Nevena Semova), which was presented at the Balkan Film Market in Albania and DOK.fest in Germany.

In 2024, Attic Films is producing three short film projects supported by national funding schemes: “Raspberry Sorbet” (by Biser Jonev), “Gadje” (short film by Georges Vanev in coproduction with Neon Rouge Belgium) and “Stop the Car” (by Igor Hristov and Nevena Semova).
